Commissioner Jack Smith presents proclamation to Susan Sloan, James Waldrop Chapter DAR Commemorative Events Chairman
The James Waldrop Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution honored the memory of the Marquis de Lafayette and his contributions to the founding of America at a recent dinner in Fayetteville. Fayette County Commissioner Chairman Jack Smith presented a proclamation to the chapter proclaiming September as Lafayette Month in Fayette County.
The James Waldrop Chapter DAR is chartered in Fayetteville.
