Rhonda Anderson with James Waldrop Chapter DAR American History Chairman Phyllis King.Rhonda Anderson, who teaches at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School, was recently named Outstanding Teacher of American History for 2010 by the James Waldrop Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.
Anderson is the Social Studies Department Chair and views the study of history as "life enrichment" that should be offered to all students. According to Anderson, history should be recalled, quoted, performed, sang, memorized, and celebrated both inside and outside the classroom.
The James Waldrop Chapter DAR is chartered in Fayetteville, Georgia.
