Pageant goers and participants enjoyed a day of beauty and fun while helping support one of Fayette County's largest cancer research and prevention fundraising events.
The sixth annual Miss South Fayette County Beauty Pageant, held at Brooks Elementary on March 5, raised $1,500 to benefit Relay for Life. Each year the pageant’s proceeds are donated to a worthy cause; this marks the first year the funds have gone to Relay for Life.
Of course, the highlight of the pageant was crowning the winners. This year’s recipients are Laney Sutherland, Petite Miss South Fayette County; Annabella Orndorff of Crabapple Lane Elementary, Tiny Miss South Fayette County; Elizabeth Skibiel of Brooks Elementary, Little Miss South Fayette County; Ava Hope Payne of Brooks Elementary, Young Miss South Fayette County; Sydney Raines of Whitewater Middle, Junior Miss South Fayette County; and Cymbre Davis of Whitewater Middle, Miss South Fayette County.
