Small Business, Home-Based Business: Need a Place To Meet?

Peachtree City Recreation Department offers meeting space rentals, equipment

Fayette County small businesses, home-based entrepreneurs or anyone else who needs an affordable place to meet clients or staff can now rent office space at the Recreation Administration building in Peachtree City.

Two rooms are available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for a rental fee of $35 per hour.

“Home-based business or small business owners who don’t have meeting space sometimes have the need for a meeting outside of their home or work place,” said Randy Gaddo, Peachtree City Director of Leisure Services. “We have two rooms that we use internally for various types of meetings, but which are available a great deal of the time.”

One room is a formal conference room with an oblong conference table that seats 9 comfortably, with space around the walls of the room for an additional 6 or more people. The other room is open and can be configured as needed, either with tables and chairs for a classroom, or with just chairs. This room can hold up to 25 people comfortably. Coffee pots and condiments are available in both rooms and people can bring in coffee and snacks.
