The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce has recently implemented a new program to help members shine. Eligible businesses will receive visibility through the new Find it in Fayette! Spotlight program which will bring Chamber members to the business for a networking reception. The spotlight program is part of a larger campaign to raise awareness of Fayette businesses and encourage consumers to buy local.
The first Find it in Fayette! Spotlight was held at Belk in Fayetteville. Store manager Kim Jones welcomed members and provided a 20% discount on purchases. According to Ms. Jones, the Spotlight was very successful and Belk significantly exceeded their sales goal for the day. Belk is the nation’s largest privately-owned department store company with more than 300 stores in 16 contiguous southern states and sales totaling $3.8 billion last year. They are committed to serving the community and providing superior service and merchandise that meet the needs of their customers.
