A 30-year history rich in achievements and traditions will be highlighted February 9-13 as J.C. Booth Middle celebrates its milestone anniversary of serving the Peachtree City community.
Alumnae, former teachers and staff members and anyone in the community with ties to the school are invited to participate in two events rounding out the week’s celebrations. A school-wide assembly will be held February 13 beginning at 9 a.m. and will feature a video with past memories and present accomplishments and the creation of a time capsule for future generations. A reception will follow for guests. The event is free and open to anyone who would like to celebrate Booth’s anniversary.
A dinner and dance in recognition of Booth’s 30 years of service to the community will follow that evening beginning at 5 p.m. at Flat Creek Country Club. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased by contacting Nancy Graham at graham.nancy@fcboe.org or calling the school, 770-631-3240.
