The second Community Awareness Seminar to be held this school year will provide information on underage drinking and driving and the consequences of a felony charge and its affect on teenagers.
The free seminar is slated for Sam’s Auditorium on January 29 at 7 p.m. Both parents and students are encouraged to attend. No preregistration is required.
The presentation is a collaborative effort of the Fayette County School System, District Attorney Scott Ballard, Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, City of Fayetteville Police Department, Peachtree City Police Department and Tyrone Police Department.
Discussion topics for this session will be lead by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department (Underage Drinking and Driving) and District Attorney Scott Ballard (Consequences of a Felony Charge and Its Affect on Teenagers).
