Chick-fil-A has committed to be the title sponsor of the upcoming Cancer Wellness Walk in Peachtree City. Their generous support of the Walk will allow Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Fayette Hospital to continue to offer their services at no charge to cancer patients and their families.
Cancer Wellness offers comprehensive, complementary services and programs to anyone affected by cancer at any phase in his or her cancer journey. These services improve quality of life and promote health and well being at every phase in the cancer journey.
“There are so many services for those of us on the journey of recovery from cancer and I have personally benefitted from them. There are programs to help you during treatment as well as attaining a healthy lifestyle after cancer treatment,” said Lisa Hedenstrom, Chief Nursing Office at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. “I sincerely feel so fortunate we have this.”
The Walk is the community benefit project of the 2010/2011 Leadership Fayette Class of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce. It will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 beginning 9am with an 8:30 check-in.
