The North Fayette Elementary School 4th grades stepped back in time to September 1787 with the James Waldrop Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution as the students learned about the framing of the US Constitution. This year marks the 222nd anniversary of the signing of the Constitution.
The James Waldrop Chapter DAR is chartered in Fayetteville. For more information, click http://jameswaldrop.georgiastatedar.org/.
Editor's Note: Recently, the James Waldrop Chapter was recognized by both the Fayette County Board of Commissioners and the Fayette County Board of Education for the ladies' dedication to volunteer teaching Fayette County children about the Constitution.
