Despite the tough economy and a rainy day, the Fayette Chamber’s 21st annual Business on the Green Classic was successfully held on Wednesday, April 2nd. Each year, the tournament provides a valuable networking opportunity for golfers and other members. The Chamber continues to encourage the business community to take advantage of every opportunity to build important relationships that can help them weather the current economic climate. The golf tournament is just one of the many Chamber events available to members to help them make connections that can help grow their businesses.

Held at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, the Business on the Green Classic is one of the largest tournaments in the County. Proceeds will be used to benefit the local business community through educational programs, advocacy, and leadership development.

The golfers competed for prizes including low gross and low net. This year’s winner of the $500 prize for the AT&T Big Putt contest was Sean Savoy.

The Chamber appreciates the support of the Presenting Sponsor, The Southern Federal Credit Union, as well as other sponsors, local businesses and dedicated volunteers that helped make the Tournament successful.
