Friday, April 24, was National Arbor Day, and Peachtree City celebrated by planting a Willow Oak near the Peachtree City Library.
Community Forester Beryl Budd was on hand to assist in planting the tree donated by City staff, which replaced an large old oak that had to be removed when it threatened the parking area at the Library.
Young residents John David Anderson and Spencer Green, who stopped by to observe the ceremony with their moms, helped plant the tree at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony
